Dylan J. Warter

I am currently in the middle of a career transition. Although I have been writing a book since 2011, I have been employed by New Orleans Police Department since 2014 and have not had as much time to focus on my writing as I would like. Several events took place since 2014 that have changed who I am. One of those events was my partner, Marcus "MilkDud" Mcneil being shot and killed October 13, 2017. I recently found myself in a very bad place and realized I had been there for a year and a half. So at 28 years old, a detective assigned to the NOPD TIGER/SWAT team, making over 100k a year... I left. Sold everything I owned, packed the cars up with my fiance and dogs, and moved to Buffalo, NY. Now I am going to try to tell the world how I got here and eventually where I am going.
