unearthly tones
rancid breath
broken bones
fingers wrapped
squeezing tight
around throat
streaked moonlight
forest clearing
demons chase
choked screams
misty haze
teeth gnawing
bloodied frame
body limp
panic fades
wooden box
shallow grave
screams echo
no-one saves
terror etched
teared face
nails clawing
no escape
darkness
reigns

Not one of your usual pieces C, but an excellent dark poem whose depth is unfathomed with some interesting rhymes and eerie images. I love the way you told this is short unpunctuated lines adding extra punch. Keep em' coming
