What Colour Are Your Emotions?...

What Colour Are Your Emotions?...

A Poem by Raspberry Rebel

If happiness was a colour
it would be yellow,
as yellow as a large sunflower swaying.
If happiness was a taste,
it would be just like chocolate melting in my mouth.
If happiness was a feeling,
it would be as carefree as a lazy summer's day.
If happiness was a smell,
it would be a fragrant as a spring bouquet.
If happiness was a sound,
it would be quiet as a gentle wave lapping golden grains...

Beautifully said. I never thought i could see, taste, smell or hear happiness. I could actually visualize it within every line i read. I felt the chocolate melting in my mouth (literally), i smelled the early spring and i heard that golden field swaying. Makes me wonder if we're in the same neighborhood. *chuckle* Well done.

Ah I love how you humanize the emotion of happiness, the many ways in which it makes you happy with all these wonderful descriptions, you have a way with words I feel your true home calling you through these words, the coast lapping at your soul bidding you come. Beautiful and so is the poem C. Keep em' coming
