Overwhelmed~

Overwhelmed~

A Poem by Raspberry Rebel

Feathery strokes caress downy
Ivory blush cheek of
Newborn, as sleepy smiles
Greet outstretched loving arms.
Eager lips searches busoms
Rosy bud, suckling...A lonely
Teenager
Intensely overwhelmed by
Parenthood,
Sobs silently...

Thought provoking

~sugar~,

Ahhh...

A sweet poetic form of trajedy... again, trajedy of a young adult, never ready -

Are we ever ready?

The babe you speak was innocently played into the arms of a teen mom. It amazes me how short, simple words transform much complexity (by placement) WITH VERY FEW CONJUNCTIONS.

Beautiful, Enlightening and Sad.

Consideration? Placing this one in the Enlightenment contest for Poetic Infusion Society...

Beautiful, powerfully emotive in such few words, movement of time reflected in a fluid movement within the writing, creates a great impact without over complicating, reading between the lines shows the emotions as they transform. Really like it

Beautiful acrostic poem, such gentleness and loving emotions, you end this so perfectly with the overwhelming element. Keep em' coming.

Have you found him yet.
