Finding out

"That is cold." Anika said as the gel was rubbed on her stomach that now protruded a bit farther now with her being five and a half months into the pregnancy. Makoto was holding her hand with eager anticipation.

"You see that right there?" The doctor asked. Kan looked closer to the screen. Makoto's face was overly esthetic. Anika smiled over at her soon to be husband. They were going to have a baby boy. Makoto leaned over and kissed his future bride. He was doing everything he could not to yell to the rooftops that he was going to have a little boy.

"Oh my God...It's a boy!" Kan ran over and hugged the doctor. The doctor looked clearly uncomfortable and shoved him off of him. Makoto raised an eyebrow at his friend who was clearly excited.

"Damn, Kan." He laughed. Anika rolled her eyes but smiled. 

"What? I am happy that I get to be the creepy uncle." He smiled and stuck his tongue out. 

"He would joke about that." Anika whispered to Makoto.
