Background:

Lawrence is Blaze's older brother. He felt like the present time wasn't as interesting as colonial times so he used his powers to send himself back to those days. He is a firefighter and because of the increase in blacksmiths in a farm town, he is kept very busy.

Lawrence is kept busy so he doesn't get much time to himself. When he does, he spends time with his puppy that he pulled out of a burning farm on one of his recent jobs.
