Ghost Hunt

This anime is about a group of people trying to exorcize ghosts.

The characters in this anime are different in their own way but still lovable.

(First Episode Over View)

A typical high school girl who loves to tell ghost stories, gets caught in the middle of a ghost hunt.

Mai (my) spends her time after school with her friends telling ghost stories in a classroom.

One day their fun is interrupted by a good looking 17 year old.

You soon find out his name is Kazuya Shibuya. 

He revieles that he is also into ghost stories and that he would like to be invited to one of their sections.

The next morning, Mai is going past an abandoned, run down school building. 

There had been many scary stories about this place.

She goes inside and sees a camera set up.

A yell from behind scares her and she backs up into a cabinet.

The man pushes her out of the way and, resulting in the cabinet falling on him, he is badly hurt.

Just then Kazuya walks in.

Mai runs to class while Kazuya takes care of the man.

 Kazuya later comes back to the class and tells Mai about the man.

It turns out the man, named Len, was his assistant.

Without a helping hand, Kazuya needs a new helper.

Mai takes this role and is now accepted into the work of Ghost hunting.

Characters:

Mai (my) : A freshman in high school, she loves anything paranormal. Her back story isn't really introduced until later in the series and that is *spoiler*. Her psychic  powers are not predominant until later in the series but she has dreams that help with investigations.

Kazuya (Ka-zoo-ya) : Mai nick names this guy Naru...as in Naru the narcissist. As the nickname suggests he has a big head at times. He is a pretty quiet guy who does almost nothing outside of work. He is often the leader of the entire team. He normally just takes his cameras and investigates the scenes, but he always finds the answers to the hauntings.

Ayako (I-a-ko) : She is the shrine maiden. She gets made fun of a lot because she throws herself at Naru a few times and Shrine maidens are supposed to be young innocent girls. Her techniqe almost never works in casting out spirits.

Hosho Takigawa (Ho-Show Tac-ee-ga-wa) : This is a 25 year old monk. Well he is only a monk part time. His main job is being the bassist in a rock band. He is nicknamed monk. Monk uses different incantations to cast out evil spirits. 

Masuko Hara (mos-a-ko har-a) : She is a 16 year old medium that is popular on t.v. She has a thing for Naru as does Mai. They are rivals in love but otherwise they get along pretty well. Masako pretty much senses spirits. She doesn't have anything to do with the expulsion on them.

John Brown: A 19 year old priest from Australia. He is nice to everyone on the team and pretty much goes with the flow. He is a priest so he uses the lords prayer a few times to help with the actual exorcizing of the spirits.

Over All:

This anime definitely makes my top ten favorites.

The characters are lovable.

The are some episodes that scared the crap out of me.

Its about hunting ghosts for crying out loud.

I love it and I would give it a 9/10.

Definitely recommend it.
