My Prayer

This is my prayer to God...

If you knew me you would know I am not religious. 

I dont go to church and i don't pray every night.

I know I am not the perfect person on this earth but...

I am praying for the strength for my friends to fight.

One is scared to death.

She is having medical problems and I am really scared.

I look to you for help for this.

You are supposed to be the one who made the human race...who cared. 

My other friend is scared to death for the same reason as I am.

She has known this one longer than I.

I pray for hope and safety for the both of them.

I am on me knees here and looking up to the sky.

God, I pray for my fighter.

She has been through so much and will need strength and love.

She feels like nothing will get better.

Is there any reprieve of that pain that she can get from above?

I know I am not perfect.

I know that I have been selfish and have sinned...

but God if you are listening to this sinner...

please look after them...because each and everyone one of them is my friend...

You can show her how strong YOU are by not cutting. Support is so strong for recovery and feeling alone at times when the rest of the world washes away for sleep at night. THEY are left to wonder, and worry for the very ones that say they support them. When my sister died, I had no idea what to do, and my sister played a great role in supporting her through it, by always showing up on time, acting like not that much has changed, making her feel like NOTHING at all ia any kind of burden.... at all!! : ) This POEM is prayer.
