Mom

Mom

A Poem by ♋ Iris ♋

I never give my mom much credit.
I blame her for everything and she doesn't deserve it.
She does one thing that every good mother should.
She looks out for me and does everything for my own good.

We fight all the time and I get mad.
Afterwords I release what I did was wrong and feel bad.
She tries to take care of us, my sisters and I.
She has proven to me that if you want to be happy, you don't have to have a guy.

She helps me when I am sick and can barely move.
If that isn't something I don't know if there is any other way to prove.

I like it. I think in a lot of little ways, this would be very nice for your mom to read on Mother's Day. One question: How do you "release" what you did wrong? It's a sweet poem. xoxo -Mark
