Freedom

I got to thinking about all that happens when freedom is given to people.

All we ask for

Is freedom

From our parents

Our religions

Our government

 

But freedom

Comes with a

Price on its head

Unseen until

It’s too late

 

It costs life

And starts war

Steals virginity

And nulls sanity

So why is it that

 

All we want is freedom

       When freedom

    Was never

  Even

Free
