Daydream

Daydream

A Poem by Julie Morgan

I sit

In my room

All of the day

And all of the night

Staring out the window

Dreaming of wonderful sights

I've always been content in here

But there is such a bigger world and

I’d like to go out in the days, dear

And stumble in late in the nights

With imagination to grow

Into a mind of light

Awaiting the day

When I'm out

and free
