So easy to feel, so hard to say.

So easy to feel, so hard to say.

A Poem by Zackary Soderquist

The first time I saw you I wasn't quite sure.
Because the smokey room became just a blur.

The first time I kissed you, then I knew it was true.
Like the breeze from the lake, the sky so blue.

The first time I said it, it sounded so right.
Like the splash of the river, a bird taking flight.

When I look into your eyes, I feel it deep inside.
All my stress and sadness becomes suddenly untied.

I hope it lasts a lifetime. that it's not just a dream.
For you give me warmth like a morning sunbeam.

This thing I know and feel it through and through
How very much I mean it when I say I love you.
