Lilies in the Field

Lilies in the Field

A Poem by Z

lilies in the field

telling me

to leave the wheel

and to set myself free

now to cover my tracks

and never look back

to look for today

and wait for her to say

its only a game

its always the same

now the lilies in the field

telling me

to believe what i feel

and speak what i mean

to never think of hate

or rely on his fate

and stray from the pack

avoid the great path

and laugh at the rider

to die a martyr

lilies in the field

tellling me

my fate in seal

i maybe free
