This is a sad poem, and, i am not sure the meaning i take from it is what you meant to portray, but its kind of dark but its not depressing, it makes me think of revelations, epiphanies, the realization that we all get used, and we all in some way use everyone else. No one does EVERTHING without ulterior motives. Even the purest of people do that sometimes, but its not always on purpose, most times we dont even notice.
"everyone uses somebody
i excercise demons
now she can drink the water
and grow a man today"
Is probably the most interesting verse, to me, in this piece. Is this letting go of a memory, or is it holding one close? By demons do you mean, you saved her so she could live and bring life, or do you mean it as in you are letting go of a memory thats been haunting you? Is SHE an actual person, or is she just a manifestation of the "demons" as in, like, "she" represents some mistake you made or didnt make, and you regret it, and the growing of the man is the manifesation of who you would have been had you followed that path?
These questions:P they haunts me! I love this piece, its so confusing but its so great, and your words are amazing, you remind me, in a strange way, of my FAVOURITE author, Marcus Zusak:P
ohhhhh... its kinda like a gothic poem... but it kind of reminds me of romeo and juliet for some reason i do not know why.... anyway fun read..... sweet work
