Tasty Thoughts(Terza Rima III)

Tasty Thoughts(Terza Rima III)

A Poem by Z

a wooden chef takes my brain

carves into pieces

forgot how to write my name

lost are my wishes

my thoughts are tasty

says my muse as she cleans the dishes

my priest offers me ecstacy

tries to blow my mind

and complete his fantasy

she used to be so kind

how she made songs

about how the sun used to shine

now the river we once knew is gone

taken by the winds of dark deeds

where love has no name and the memories grow long

I say i'll be there whenever in need

riding a red horse

followed by old men bathed in greed

In the mean time, give me back by beliefs

Today you are no thief
