Date with A God

Date with A God

A Chapter by Zariah Rangel

"Hello Jeremy...." I say as he hands me the lily. "How'd you know I like Lily's?"
"you look like a lily kind of girl.."
"thank  you..."
"lets go, I've got the perfect place to eat..."
"okay...." He takes my hand in his and he leads me down the streets. It's quiet for a while but I break the silence.
"so...I've heard things about you.."
"what about me?" He says raising an eyebrow.
"That you're dangerous ......."
"oh really...."
"and that I should stay away from you...."
"so why don't you.."
"because I can't stay away..." He smiles. I blush. His smile is perfect teeth. Pearly whites. With black boyish hair. Piercing gray eyes. This man is perfect.
"thanks...you know for not running..."
"you're welcome.."
We get to a little diner. Its cozy and not crowded. Its simple but nice. After dinner we go to the movies, a vintage theater that's  playing old movies. We decide to see The Prince and Me. Marilyn Monroe movie. We sit right in the center if the room. He wraps one arm around my shoulder. After only twenty movies, our eyes meet. He places a hand on my cheek and caresses it with his thumb. Back and forth. Our faces getting closer and closer. Soon, our mouths collide. Massaging each others tongue with our own. Its wet, really wet. His lips are so soft and moist. His mouth so warm. His fingers through my hair and holding my neck. My hands gliding all over his perfectly toned arms. He starts biting my bottom lip. Tugging it lightly. I lose it. I climb onto is lap. Each leg on either side of him. I feel myself getting wet. He holds onto my hips. His grip gets tighter but we are interrupted by one of the staff, saying we have to leave. I climb off of him and we seen out. We walk hand in hand.
"can i ask you something?" I ask unsure if I should really ask him.
"sure"
"did a girl kill herself because of you?"
No response. He stopped walking. His whole body stiffened. His eyes got wide. Maybe I shouldn't have asked him this. This is so a bad way to end a date. He sits on the curb of the side walk with his head in his hands. I sit next to him and place my hand on his thigh.
"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have asked..."
"her name was Katie...." he finally spoke, lifting his head.
"oh......."
"we only slept together once, before we did I told her this was just a one night stand, she was totally fine with in. The day after she called me to see if I wanted to go out again but I told I didn't want to. She called me constantly. She followed me places. Took pictures. Came into my apartment when I wasn't there...I always let her down easy, never made her feel bad....but I got tired of it and yelled at her one night when she came into my house when I was sleeping. I told it would never happen. The next morning, her sister found her in her bath tub with her wrist cut up to her elbows. She left a note with just one sentence..'you should have loved me'...it was three years ago....I blamed myself. Like maybe I should have given her a chance..."
"Jeremy...it wasn't your fault, it will never be your fault....that's awful that she ended her life but you have to remember, she wasn't stable, from what you're telling me , she was obsessed with you..."
"I know but ever since then, people always make me seem like a bad person when I'm not, well I don't think I am..."
"you're not...you're amazing..."
He just looks at me. Like I just said something so spectacular. Like somethings he's never heard before. He takes my hand in his, caressing it with his thumb.
"I like Ember.....there is no lying with you..." he says smiling at me. Looking at me with those big gray eyes.
"I like you too..." I say then kissing his cheek.
We both get up and start walking again. Just talking about anything and everything. I like talking to him. Our conversations mean something. They're not crappy. We actually listen to each other. He speaks with such intellect. He knows what he's talking about. He's not just babbling a bunch of s**t. I focus on his side profile as he speaks. His face is flawless. Good...great cheek bones, strong jaw line. I can tell he used to have his lip pierced, the light mark is very inviting to another kiss.
We get to his apartment and are supposed to have a drink but instead its straight to the bedroom. He lays me down on his bed and climbs on top of me kicking off his sneakers. He's kissing all over my neck, sucking and nipping along the line of my collar bone. His hands gliding all over my body. I run my fingers through his hair. He starts unbuttoning the front of my dress and I panic.
"wait , wait, wait..." I say gabbing his hand.
"what....what is it?' he sounds worried.
"umm.....I-I'm still a virgin.."

This is very interesting story so far. It seems you rushed the reveal of her virginity at the end. There needs to be more of a struggle and conflict here. They begin on the sofa it becomes very passionate, and she is trying to keep it at second base (or whatever base) before hitting the home run. This part should probably reflect her fear of where everything is going. Something to that aim would be best.
