THEY'RE HUMANS AFTERALL

THEY'RE HUMANS AFTERALL

A Poem by Zuha Kachkar
"

This piece of writing describes the most encountered human nature and the human behaviour that makes different kinds of impression on the minds of many.

"
Don't lose hope if they leave you all alone, they're humans afterall.
Don't be scared if they stab your back someday, they're humans afterall.
Don't confuse yourself if they don't mean what they say, they're humans afterall.
Don't blame yourself if they call you different names, they're humans afterall.
Don't lose faith in love if they break your heart, they're humans afterall.
Don't hate your skin, voice or brain if they don't realise your worth, they're humans afterall.
Don't question your beliefs if they don't believe in you, they're humans afterall.
Don't hurt yourself because you're tired of being hurt by others, they're humans afterall.
Don't change yourself because they think you don't fit in the picture,
you're perfect and they're humans afterall.

Humans are as unsteady as the seasons; changing themselves as a chameleon in distress. To abide in mankind, is to abide in unsteadiness. We are as waves in the ocean; rising up for a moment only to reside back into the sea. Then we rise again with a different shape. Very powerful poem, Zuha. Excellent work.
