Have you?

Have you?

A Poem by Zõmbïē Sølö

Have you ever felt the overwhelming urge to cry,
and not understand why?

Have you ever lie in bed,
arguing with the voices in your head?

Have they ever tried to say,
how useless you’re going to feel today?

Did they ever scream and shout,
convincing you what your life is about?

Telling you it’s all for naught,
it’s just as pointless as you thought?

Have you ever wanted to give in,
listen to the voices, let them win?

Have you ever just wanted peace,
but the demons steal away your sleep?

Did you ever lie in tears through the dark,
wondering why no one can mend your ruptured heart?

Have you ever lie in bed,
wishing you were dead?

Have you?

Well, have you...?
