This was a most interesting write. It poses a question unspoken, deeper than those pronounced. Are we alone in the way we feel? No. We are not alone and far from it. We are all sharing this great experience of humanity; it's pain, suffering, hope, joy, misery, love, faith and eventually, death. But we each feel alone because we do not share or express to one another our need for fear; fear of being rejected, fear of being misunderstood, fear of being human and fear of the feeling itself. Perhaps the greatest meaning is finding the strength and courage to allow ourselves our humanity; to admit our frailty and fragility but at the same instance put forth a helping hand, a single strand of hope like the spider casts a filament...ever so silent and thin but strong enough to hold not only its own weight but to carry another; a sister or brother from the depths where they have fallen. We are all in the same sinking boat, and some of us have not yet learned to swim. We must do anything but cling to those who cannot, lest we become an anchor pulling them down, rather than a lifegiving buoyance, helping them stay afloat. I very much enjoyed the thought invoking write. Keep up the good work and great writing. F.

I love seeing other people's perception when it comes to my poem. Usually, my goal when writing is to invoke a deep process of thought while also trying to relate to everyone to make them feel as if there is other people out there that can express eloquently what they feel at times. Thank You for letting me know that my process of inquiry and thought is working to inform and change this world.

You're doing great! I see much talent and wonderful potential in your work.
Hmm, hmm, okay, I really like this poem. It is unique, especially the ending. I like the encouragement / instruction you end this with. The whole poem being full of meaning had me drowning with no intention of surfacing for air and then you brought me up. :(
But at least I got to spend the time I did in your wonderful poem. Tyfs
