blood on my hands

blood on my hands

A Poem by Kira Sukame
"

its a poem of death, sadness and war

"

blood on my hands by kira sukamo

there blood in here.
im freaked out.
blood all over.
who says it taste like tomatoes.
it didnt.

the blood is over me.
im soaked.
the blood is on the wall.
on the floor.
on the couch.

there's some that claim me.
there's some that want me dead.
i killed today.
i killed in selfdefence.

now the blood is on my hands.

And allways will be.

Chilling and frantic and straight to the point.

It sounds like the exact thoughts that i would imagine rushing through someones head at a time like this.

Very well conveyed, and Ilike the bits of imagery,

The second two lines were much better for me than the first.

It was good too, but you seem to have really gotten more into in the last two.

Well written. Interesting point of view. I liked the last line.

gory, vivid, well-written in my opinion. the last line added a lot of emotion, a lot of thoughts for the reader to dwell on. interesting piece, well done.

This is a very good description of someone who has just killed. I especially like the part where you realiaze that blood does not taste like tomatoes, adding a sense of innocence and morbidity.
