courage.

lacking courage.

uncertain steps, certainly stepping.
a bold and loud voice, he was lacking.
things fade away
silence has come to stay.

an unsettling feeling:
it was fear
a scared little being, but:
he was here.

a voice in your head
is a voice left unsaid
voices are meant to be heard
not hidden away or blurred.
voices give words power
a platform for words to flower

these words are endless, they can inspire
the generations to come, for ever and ever

a short moment is all it takes
so with a deep breath he makes
a speech honest and sincere

it was awkward at first
he had expected the worst ...
only to be met with a slow, slow cheer.
