Poisonous

Poisonous

A Poem by zogzog

Intelligence speaking.

Stupidity leaking.

I’m lost for words

And robbed of emotion.

Doesn’t it seem like

A million miles from here?

And didn’t it seem like

Ten thousand dreams ago?

His blood on my boot sounds sweet.

One prayer in the sanctuary

Will make it all complete.

Is this too poisonous for you?

Its stupidity speaking

And intelligence leaking.

I’m lost in emotion

And robbed for words.

It is all so covert,

Keys that unlock the sounds of madness.

It is all so confusing

Because it never ends.

Not too poisonous for me man! It is a tapestry of questioned frustration and brutal honesty knitted together at just the right points to move the eye and the mind along. And the last two lines are just an untouchable universal truth.

Good stuff!
Cheers!

Interesting piece love:) The spiral of almost insanity blues amongst rational moments, each scenario reversed, great work xx
