Scattered and Torn

Scattered and Torn

A Poem by zogzog

Scattered and torn,

Like those gypsies

Dancing on the grass

Before dawn.

Once I had lied.

The truth I cried,

But no one believed.

So in my scorn

I played out

Every action

Like I was in a movie,

And a bad one

At that.

So I hid myself

In houses hidden by time.

Like gypsies in the forest

I found the truth

Begging for a dime.

And words scribbled by

These unfortunate actors

Is only fantasy,

Like everything else.

I pray the black dog of death

Will eat out your eyes.

Rip out your tongue

For telling lies.

And to the pathetic

Democratic bunch,

Joel’s’ army is out to lunch,

But I’m here now.

Scattered and torn,

Let’s drink until morning.

Sorcery,

Can’t make you dream any more

Then this.

Ah, just say a prayer for me,

Would you please?
