Do You Lie Sometimes?

Do You Lie Sometimes?

A Poem by zoEstrr

Do you lie sometimes
Hiding needles in haystacks
Thinking until you lose track
Have you ever dared to dream

We all have our ghosts
Our secrets to keep
Our flaws to veil
Complicated tales.

Do you lie sometimes
Even to me?
So selfishly guarding
what's underneath

Many unanswered questions
Bones swept under carpet
Do you lie sometimes
I ask once more
as you diligently avoided the door.

About the last line, " as you diligently avoided the door", it's refering to coming out of the dark or in this case, coming out of the closet.
