Growing Old

Growing Old

A Poem by zoEstrr

Bang, you're dead,
said the little boy.
Little boys given new toys.

Young and free,
said the adolescent male.
Teenage boys who think they can't fail.

Definitely stressed,
replied the more matured.
Young adults whose speech is not slurred.

Family matters,
cried the fathers.
Great is he who doesn't love money.

Take me as me,
said the elders.
Nothing matters when you've learnt lessons.
