Dear Jayme. Author's Note.

Okay, so this is to help out you guys and myself a little. This is to clear up Jayme’s age and the characters in the letters.

So far these are the characters that appeared. I have no idea who will turn up next since I’m writing this book as if I’m living a day at a time. I have a very vague idea of the ending though, it’s just the middle that I have no clue what I’m doing.

Emily and Richard: Foster parents.
Vivian: Matt’s girlfriend and Jayme’s childhood friend
Matt: Vivian’s boyfriend and Jayme’s best friend
Lisa: The girl who turned Jayme’s life upside down and his first girlfriend.
Joel: Lisa’s brother and a so called gang leader.
Julie: Joel’s girlfriend

Alright, and to clear up another thing. All the letters are written by me. The characters are writing their letters to Jayme. The letters are not in sequence and it jumps here and there. I prefer it this way because

1) It’s more confusing
2) It’s more interesting
3) I don’t want it to be like a journal.

And now, time to sort out Jayme’s age. I had a hard time calculating too because..well, I’m not a math person, heh.

2003: Jayme is 16 years old and he moves out of the house
2004: Jayme is 17 and he is very needy at this point and also don’t forget suicidal. This is also the age he met Lisa.
2005: Jayme is 18 and he starts to stray from the good path and the change is more obvious here.
2006: Jayme is 19 and he disappears for a long time before appearing again after getting on the wrong side of Joel
2007: Jayme is 20 and he tries to lead a normal life like he promised Matt.
2008: Jayme is 21 and I’m not telling you what happens
2009: Jayme is 22 and I won’t reveal the ending.

Yes, I’m stopping his story at 2009 because mainly, I think it’ll be very cool, haha, and also because I think from 16 to 22 is a very long journey already.

I have no idea how getting drunk feels like, how drug dealing is like and how weed actually looks like so I’m just doing research and using my imagination though I’ll try to stick to scenarios that are actually convincing so you won’t see a silly vampire or unicorn come hurling out of no where.

I also must add that NO ONE IN THE BOOK IS REAL, I may ask you a few questions if I know you’ve been through something similar but I won’t stick your entire story there. I want to try to be as original as possible and I hope you all will enjoy reading the on-going work, haha.

I APPRECIATE THAT YOU EVEN BOTHER READING THIS:D i hope this clears up any sotongs or blur heads that keep asking me tons of questions, hahaha.
