Non-Physical Departure

Non-Physical Departure

A Poem by ScintellaCadence

The song from your face is fast departing
I want to say that "I apologize, I did not mean what I've done."
No.
I have nothing to atone about.
I know that in the hands of society.
It's laws state that it is wrong.
I'm just flailing, hanging from the tips of society's fingers.
To be really truthful...
I meant all of it
all along the way.

That thing we had, was lost in the wind
so long ago.
I think you've seen it
it left just like the last breath
of a dying man.

I didn't really do anything.
In my mind.
I did.
