a poem for kaitlyn. i know you can make it through this

summer came fast
as did you
secrets poured and i always knew
i could count on you
each laugh each smile, so pure and never fake
memories to last a life time
from a few moments give or take
you always seemed so silly
but you had a glow
this thirst for happiness and adventure
i could never touch nor know
you have strength
in any thought and any action
power uncomprehendable to even you
i believe in your words
so i leave you with,
