ride of my life

i stare out into the sunrise,
big yellow bus slowly approaching
the distances slowly closes
i wish my eyes would open and it were just a dream
a nightmare of just another day
the doors creak open,
the engine roars in my ears
like the buzzing of a bee
or all my fears
i walk on with no choice of turning back
i choke back my tears
trying to relax
my body slowly shakes as the bus begins to move
i peer out the window at what use to be home
the straps tighten around my throat
i wish id die, i wish my heart would stop beating
hope is gone all i have is pain

he touches my skin, and whispers in my ear
my eyes sting with the pools of tears
tear me down, break me
just dont save me
words that ive come to know
this place while filled horror will never be my home
i shake and tremble with every turn
he gets closer
and my skin burns
i feel the detail of his fingers
i hear his voice in my head
i wish i were girl in love, no i wish i was dead
