when i woke up

i woke up this morning feeling everything was ok

no emptiness diluted my mind

my only reminders life moves on

i feel but a fool, for the things i said

for now they mean nothing to me

just words, and thoughts

i hope to not think again

because thinking turns back time

i shall hold onto the present

sheild the past

and dream of the future

for the future is kind
