when i close my eyes

the stars are bright, in the dead of night

the world silent, but my heart beats on

when i close my eyes

dreams become real

or maybe life moves on

the warmth of the sun caresses my face

another day out of place

just another meaningless day

the sunsets the world filled with wonder

i close my eyes

i make a wish

i dream of you

 

i dream of the warmth of your embrace

the light smile on your face

the blue of your eyes

the way i smile when i want to cry

 

i dream of the days without you

the emptiness that deluded my soul

the meaningless days where dreams where just dreams

and how now my dreams are so much more
