pain

the tears linger within my stinging eye

the pain strong, and weak as I

anger faded, sadness following shortly after

pain still holds on to every factor

of my being and of my soul

it has taken hold

no sadness, or anger could bring tears so strong

it is the loss of feeling and the numbness after

that has prolonged

i feel as my mind drifts away and is lost in the darkness

myself fades, and fades

not even the grey my eyes or the amber surrounding,

shall ever be the same

i fade into the darkness, tear by tear

i fade, oh yes i fade, in the pain that  surrounds me

the tears i drown myself upon

the worries of my life drained as i have gone

left to the numb, emotionless souls of the world

i long for my soul and emotions, and more

i hold onto whats left of this emotionless girl

Easy to fall into a protected shell. Hard to find reason to escape the anger and disappointment. A powerful and sad poem. The emotionless girl need a good friend willing to hang around and re-create new dreams. A very god poem.
