shattered heart, a million pieces

shining brightly, cutting deeper

fragments of who i am,

pieces of my soul

a new tale untold

sweet words mixed with venom

another thought another  trigger

gun fire

click, powder, smoke, death

love a lonely myth

 

tears splatter

like blood against walls

feelings, the ghost that roams the halls

the shot echoes throughout my heart

surges through my body

and leaves me numb once again

shall i take another stab?

or pull the trigger once again..

leave myself wide open
