St Patricks DayA Poem by ZmHleprechauna light fog mist fills the cool March air The grass tinted a dark green from the morning dew Silence fills the room goose bumps spread over porcelain skin as the laughter begins tiny footsteps scrape against the oak floor you search for hope and the paint chipped door green flecks within your eyes terror takes over, and courage hides the laughter comes closer, no one in sight you look to the floor to see just a little guy he stares at you with intense eyes furry raging, no feelings to hide He smiles a devilish grin "your luck begins" he sings and chants to an irish dance tells all about his gold and leaves your blood running cold
Blood fills the halls, coats the walls he tied and restrained you a slash here, a stab there left in the red within his hair St Patricks Day a horror if you may
