lost soul

lost soul

A Poem by ZmH

the light shines brighter then the sun

the shadows pull until the day is done

earth no longer grasp

what was him at last

breath, the words he spoke wispers in the wind

a taunting joke

blood, he had spilled

for the life he lived was shrill

crimson the color he desires

one remark

and the shots ring out

as the gun fires

screams, echoed as he died

a young man swallowed in pride

his body gushed

but not a tear was shed

for the many people wished him dead

cheers rang out upon the old dirt road

a man once traveled the world alone

he stared upon the blackend sky

waiting for the day, he to would die

his soul tinged with the death he caused

a spirit left with no applause

for the fire burned within his eyes

the rage seized his dark mind

in charcoal and ash

his body you will find

a lost soul traveleing a dirt road

where hes going,

no one knows

A sad and lonely poem. The description and story was very good. Life can be hard when we must face it alone. Many strong statements in the poem. I like your ending. A excellent poem.
