redrawn

redrawn

A Poem by ZmH

i was once a dark figure on a page

filled with hope

and the light of days

a beautiful silouhette once i was

until days grew darker and my lines began to smudge

i screamed at the top of my lungs

i spoke in a soothing voice

but nothing was heard not even the eraser noise

i faded into the background

a simple shape

nothing different, only out of place

slowly the page begins to tear

nothing left not even the clothes i had to wear

my heart broken

my lines gone

ive gone crazy upon being redrawn

my figure melted into the light grey shades

all that was left an empty page

a few small strokes

an eraser,

and a lot of outrage

unheard, unexisting

in the process of being redrawn

a line of curiosity never close to being found

a simple curve or flexibility

i do not posess

that is not me
