heart to heart

listen word for word

what im telling youve never heard

young girl, fourteen

didnt know the cause of things

only knew pain

what she did changed the game

 

slowly the numbness fell

dizzyness enveloped

and tears wanted to swell

but no one gave a hell

she struggled for them to hear

but god damned them give her a chance to perservere

they watch as she fall to pieces tear by tear

 

breathless she lay

may today be the day?

where her life means something

not this time

nothing was flipped not even a dime

 

time and time again

she pull the blade

nothing changed

she choked back her tears

slit again broke her vein wide open

still they fail to listen

 

hope fades like her rage

she stepped forward to her final page

her story ends here

this is my confession written

not spoken for no words ammount to the pain i feel

nor would my words appeal to her

ive lied a thousand times

and she has not seen

the pain thats surfacing

so here i confess to my last attempt at death
