whirl windA Poem by ZmHthe wind blows at a steady pace the clouds form with a cone base lighting crashes and the storm begins another whirl wind slowly it tumbles destroying everything in sight the lighting cracks nothing can put up a fight in my mind you are a whirl wind
your anger surges your palms sweat you grit your teeth until ust about nothing is left your scream cracks with rage your hands you wave oh you think your brave try being me i listen as you grumble you could mumble all day argue about things, just to get your way you do nothing i do it all but boy, do you stand tall while i live in fear of my marriage years and mop the hall of my own blood, yeah thats right dont you even remember the outcome of last night and the blows of your drunken fight
your anger built your muscles formed your scream went on and on until your lighting strikes your hand slaps with a sting, i guess the alcohol didnt do its thing your fist tightens until the veins become apparent your whites of your eyes now transparent and the digging of your fingernails starts to bleed more and more is what you need and then you say good night guess i didnt put up a good enough fight you are a whirl wind and the thing that hurts the most, you are my husband
