metamorphisis

metamorphisis

A Poem by ZmH

once a child in a sand box

held tightly in a cacoon

vibrant colored wings consumed

dangled above free ground

shaken by the wind

but never falling down

comprehension and pain split open

to bare wing

yet you remain frozen

winds swirl all around you

natures grasp takes hold

your still shaken

and wait for the new world to unfold

like the wings of a butterfly

the world becomes open to your eyes

colors unseen, beauty, even suffering

things youll never fully know

but you take flight and hope

met
