haunted maze

haunted maze

A Poem by ZmH

blood pours, splatters, leaks

from the veins in our skin so deep

flesh heals slowly

and glows bright

blood darkens the night

windows fog with the last breath

screams enable death

tears dry clear

just like the fade of your fear

blood stains the walls

its trail brightening the halls

souls pull  and drag

trying to save you from your body bag

the skeletons dig their way out

as you find your way about

they chatter and scarem trying to save you

from this haunted maze

the trees move with a haunted grace

they pull you close in deaths embrace

creatures eyes enlighten by hell

as they watch as your bruises swell

slowly the trees constrict

you try to make one last wish

but fall into the deaths fowl mist

I'm hiding under my blanket. That was a very strong poem. It had an amzing feeling of fear. I love the way you wrote it and described it. It was perfect the whole way through!
