if only she knew

tears of scarlette

heart of the parted

blood curses through her veins

though she'll never be the same

soul lost

skin untouched

thoughts left of nothing much

silver shining

fear struck like lightning

eyes meet the blade

reflection she once knew

no longer a stranger to just you

the thoughts still slowly brew

she strokes the blade

all hope fades

silver grazed upon her wrist

she lost herself just like this

she now lay in a pool of rusty scarlette

not knowing life would be better within a few years

she lost herself within scarlette tears

for now she lay

corpse grey,

lips blue,

if only she knew
