Loneliness

I once thought loneliness meant one
I thought it spelled out silence
and cast a dark air
I dreamed it as nightmares
but yet here I stand
together but yet so far apart
on the grasp of breaking
glue slipping from my broken heart
the glass slides deeper
with the slip of your tongue
your anger, your ignorance
but I'm the only one
I see your happiness
with my tear stained eyes
I see your love, for I have given, but where is mine?
