Lables

Lables

A Poem by chris hoagland
"

Just some motivation kind of poem I wrote

"
in school we where told about how people often develope lables
"freak" "f*g" "gay" "w***e" "b***h"
and we where told to tear our lables off and make our own
i stand by that but life in the 2000's isnt as simple as our elders once knew
our sociaty has evolved and changed so much in this age of infomation
we have become smarter, judgmental, and strict
for ever one of us who points a finger we get five pointing back
we stay hidden and we observe
we excell at our passions
animals, writing, reading, math, sicence, sports
we do what we long for but everyone else says to be "realistic"
break that lable of realism and break our own lables too.
become what you love, be that doctor that saves lives
or the author in the newspaper
or the astronaut on the moon
or even the diver in marianas trench
do what YOU love
and while your at it- Love yourself because you are worth every breath you take in like writing a thank leter to each tree to give you that breath, give yours back and become you
