Gloucester

Gloucester

A Poem by zgabriel

There I was

Sitting on the rocks

Listening to the sound of the waves crash

To everyone else the day was gloomy and cold

But, to me, in that moment, it wasn’t

It was as if the sun was at full blast

And as if the trees were as vibrant as a perfect spring day

And in that moment

sitting on the rocks,

I thought maybe, just maybe, everything might be okay
