Voyage/New Oceans

Voyage/New Oceans

A Poem by Hurdy

Boundless skies spoke,
and the rain fell.
Gave us seven oceans,
and many islands.

In the setting horizon,
there was no path to trace.
A golden timelessness,
without night or day.

I,
Swam in the life,
lead by dolphins
into the distant tropics
where I found my place.

Through the curving blue,
into the waving muse
I found you.

Lost at sea,
I learned to be lost and free.
I sailed, on that voyage,
wherever love would find me. //

New Oceans

There's an ocean full of animals
And a sky full of opinions, but I do
want to get to know you.

In that quiet place, in that secret space
watched a fire light up in the horizon
wash away all the seasons,
flood in all the feelings.

I came to, you came to
in the shadows and in the darkness
in the light sky breeze, and happiness
It doesn't matter to me, it never did

through the curving blue
into the waving muse,
I found you and said I do
want to know you
through the curving blue
into the waving muse, I found you
I said I do want to love you too
so take me with you
we'll discover new oceans.

I don't have a clue who I am anymore. I got lost in the music. I'm back now, because I remember being here is where I felt the most seen. That's all I have to say for now. more..
