Lighthouse

A Poem by Hurdy
"

The good one about this is that it can be interpreted and taken to heart in a variety of ways.

"

A darker day today, wings clipped, the mourning hearts
lament out to me, in their jars, on the shelves.
In the darkness, it’s always a hit and miss cacophony.
In what constellation have we found ourselves?

This silken garment, I’m dressed in an ocean of beliefs.
It’s more or less just an outfit to make me feel free.
But when the morning calls, calls out to me,
your touch of life always breezes by in this ecstasy.

Teach me to live free, and make the leap;

when it’s a lighter day, maybe the sky will clear.

I’ll set the hearts free, this baggage off of me
Spread my wings, for once, unafraid
so I can at last fly out to you.

Down by the sea, the blue body wreaks beautifully
a testament of the dead, of our love and of life.
This broken down harbor house is just a personality.
Could you shine your light on this troubled mind tonight?

This song travels over your waters, but I can’t wait for tomorrow.
Every night I paint pictures of your soul, can you see?
The gulls may pick at my spirit, but I’ll always be gazing out the window -
Although we live in the moon’s lunacy, you’re always smiling back at me.

Freedom, love, light, broken out of the long long fight. I loved this dear poet.
You have captured a soft, and silken divine piece here, full of truth, wonderings, and human thoughts, all captured in one piece. I enjoyed reading this, because, it's positive, healing, and bringing back life for those who have lost it almost. Well done! Excellent write.

Love can be abundant and it can be as shallow as a tear, you have the soul of a romantic and it should be known. Enter this into something cause your words are true.

I love this. The soft passion of promise.... The love is evident as each word melts effortlessly into another painting the reader a beautiful image.
