one more time, one more sacrifice

the words in my head,

they trail off into nothing

 

i suppose this is what i get

for diving headfirst

for plunging into

the dark abyss i knew this is

 

but can you blame me?

for wanting to try

one more time

as if one more

one more would make it all better

one more push

would make all the pieces fit

nicely

together

 

when the pieces are all torn and broken

the pictures chipped off from wear

the edges so deformed nothing slots in place
