love is

it comes with a touch
it comes with a kiss,
it comes with a smile
or everything you've missed

it's the big things
-- the ones that matter
that mean the world
to you
to them
to both of you

and it's the small things, too
-- little shenanigans
looks across the room
a fleeting moment
a spark of connection
so ordinary
it's barely a memory

but it's a feeling
it's a moment that lasts
longer
stronger
farther
