what invades

what invades

A Poem by zeronineight
"

i guess progress isn't linear :))

"

the white stains

on my previously pristine black shirt,

they mock me

i see today's laundry and i don't

see progress of today,

but yesterday's incapacity

there are dishes on top of dishes

and they smell;

a thought invades my head

in the form of a shiver

a sharp inhale through gritted teeth

like i had been burnt

there are sounds coming

from the living room

but i can't be bothered

i can't get up

enough to look over

enough to give a damn
