RainA Poem by Magen KumquatA poem about the powers of rainRain A flow of drops of water from point A, the sky, to point B, the ground. It appears one day and dies the next. Restoring the parched world, the crying clouds break the norm of the rays of the sun. It shields us from the relentless heat and quenches the baked soul. The soothing sound releases us from the chimes of stress that watch over us like specters of yesterday. The drops of H20, brings life and restores order from the many varieties of (sun) rays. The one uniform "frequency" paves the way for torpor. The deluge makes us all look to each other, rather than the outside world in the calm world. The rivers of the skies cry in happiness and sorrow as their tears fill with emotion leave their eyes in the sky. The cloud slowly disperses as their times fades to nothing as the light returns anew. The brevity ends today with a sunset that cries thought the clouds. The horizon reveals itself, shining from the dew. Would that world be a better place if it rained more than it shined?
